Celticism and Biases toward the Ancient Celts
Today, many organized institutions are attmpting to disregard the Celts in many
ways. The term Celticism is defined by the University of North Carolina at Chapel
Hill as: Study of the Celtic peoples with a bias toward classifying them as either "heroic
savage" or "illiterate barbarian." Today, the BBC questions whether
the Celts ever existed at all (a clear bias to disrupt Engand's identity as a
Celtic nation). |

Celts
Today
Today Celts reside in much larger tribes in areas of Australia, Ireland,
Scotland, Brittany, Wales, the Isle of Man, England and the United States.
This site is one small network to unify many of the world's billion people
who
claim
Celtic ancestry regardless of any bias, religion or language. |

About the Early Celts
The ancient Celts (pronounced with a hard "c") were tribes of people
bound by a family of languages who lived in Western Europe. These people were
bound by similar traditions, art, and language. The name "Celt" came
from the Roman word and suposedly means "Secret people" as this group
was initially unknown to the Roman empire. |
